Who we are
Survivingbreastcancer.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting those who have been touched by breast cancer. Whether you are caring for someone who has been diagnosed, know someone who has breast cancer, have been diagnosed yourself or carry one of the gene mutations, we understand that a breast cancer diagnosis can be life changing and overwhelming.
Out of the need to navigate the uncertainty and the strong desire for connection, support, and resources, surivingbreastcancer.org was born.
A fundamental piece of the breast cancer journey revolves around well-being and quality of life. This translates into how community, education, support, and wellness complement one's treatment plans and leads not only to survivorship, but thrivership!
We understand that a breast cancer diagnosis is just not managing your health during active treatment, but a necessary component to your wellbeing long after treatment ends.
We provide unique services to support you through your journey from day one, and beyond.

What We Do
Undergoing a cancer diagnosis or finding out you carry a gene mutation can be overwhelming. We are hear to support you from day one and beyond. You are never alone! Check out our events section to find a community event near you.
We are your number one spot for information and resources. We partner with communities to be able to offer you access to what you need as you navigate this journey.
A breast cancer diagnosis can happen for a variety of reasons. It could be because of genetics. In some cases, it could be due to environmental causes, and sometimes, we don't have the answers for why it has happened....
However, we do know that diet, nutrition, and overall health & wellness, both physical exercise and holistic approaches, can lessen treatment side effects, improve quality of live, extend life expectancy, and may reduce the possibility of the cancer coming back (recurrence).
That's why, at SurvivingBreastCancer.org, we have developed tailored programming and robust services as a complement to your care.

What People Are Saying
I am looking forward to getting involved, letting women know about their screening options and working with a great organization like yours.
Tonight went great! It was an intimate group and I was honestly shocked at how sincerely interested these women were in our stories... they all have daughters and grand daughters going through breast cancer. I really appreciate being part of your speakers bureau and happy to do it again any time.
Thank you so much Laura! I’m so glad to be a part of SurvivingBreastCancer.org! You have done an amazing job with it!!!
