Discover firsthand insights, triumphs, and challenges into topics of love, relationships, and self-discovery.

Don't miss this empowering conversation on finding connection and embracing life , regardless of the obstacles.

Deltra James is a devoted chain tea drinker, wig hoarder, and unabashed lover of singing and dancing. She's also a proud mother and has been courageously battling triple-negative metastatic breast cancer since 2019. Deltra's commitment to the community is evident she supported our creative space in the Open Mic Night, recognizing the importance of shared experiences, especially as a single mom and metastatic cancer thriver. Eager to share the knowledge she has learned with others who may not have the chance to attend the LBBC conference, particularly representing BIPOC, single moms, and metastatic patients.

Roxana Guerra is a resilient Thriver who has been battling metastatic breast cancer for seven years. Her journey began with a diagnosis in December 2015 at the age of 41, revealing invasive lobular carcinoma/lobular carcinoma in situ, ER+ PR+ HER2-. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Roxana is deeply committed to advocating for her community. Selected as a 2024 SBC Educational Scholar, she eagerly wants to share her knowledge to amplify awareness about SurvivingBreastCancer.org among her peers.
