About the event

In partnership with the Society of Integrative Oncology (SIO), we are pleased to share this upcoming webinar on Healing & Community Building Through African Drumming. The history of the African Drum, djembe, begins during the Malian Empire by the Mandé people, dating back to 1230 AD, who named it after the saying ‘Anke djé, anke bé’, meaning ‘Everyone gather together in peace’.

Speaker: Mel Mann, MBA, M.ED

Moderator: Eleanor Walker, MD, SIO Board Member

After you register via our website, your confirmation email will provide one final step to complete the registration process through SIO. From there, they will email you the zoom link for the webinar!
