About the event
Worry Time is based on “worry postponement” or “scheduled worry time,” a cognitive-behavioral strategy that gives worry a designated time and boundary instead of letting it take over the whole day. The technique is structured around setting aside a specific period of time to focus on worries, then transitioning out of that space.
Worry Time is a guided, peer-support gathering where we give worry a compassionate container. Together, we’ll spend 15 minutes naming what is taking up space in our minds, followed by gentle sharing and connection.
This is not a therapy group, medical advice session, or problem-solving workshop. This is not a space for fixing or advice-giving. It is a space for being heard. It is a space to be witnessed, to listen, and to remember that you do not have to carry every worry alone.
