Breast cancer treatment can bring many unexpected challenges. Many people experience weight gain related to chemotherapy, steroids, menopause, endocrine therapy, fatigue, changes in appetite, and the emotional toll of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, medications known as GLP-1 receptor agonists—including Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound—are receiving growing attention for their role in diabetes care, weight management, and potentially cancer-related outcomes.
