About the event
This training is designed to empower compassionate volunteers to confidently lead support groups for individuals living with metastatic breast cancer. Our facilitators are the heart of our community, offering connection, understanding, and hope to those navigating an MBC diagnosis.
In this session, you’ll gain the tools, skills, and confidence to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where every voice is heard and honored.
In this training, you will learn:
The role and impact of an MBC support group facilitator
How to foster emotional safety and meaningful connection
Active listening and trauma-informed communication skills
