About the event
Join Kim O´brien for a  blend of traditional YOGA postures and practices (asana, pranayama, mudra & meditation) that are COMBINED with FITNESS, Qi Gong & Tai Chi inspired practices to improve full-body balance, range of motion, strength, and joint mobility.  This class incorporates seated (in a chair) & standing movement sequences.  Participants have the option to use a chair as an “ASSIST to maintain balance and gain strength while performing standing postures.  This is NOT a floor-based practice, however, participants may choose to start & end the class seated on the floor instead of seated in a chair.  The intent of this class is to make movement accessible to all practitioners and even though modifications and stronger variations are offered throughout the class, YOU are ultimately in control of how you choose to move your fabulous body.  The movement offered in this class is intended to stimulate, not aggravate - so HONOR your body and RESPECT your limitations.
