About the event
Pamela will be guiding you through a yoga for breast cancer care class. This class will consist of an upper-body lymphatic drainage series, a gentle joint freeing series, fluid movements that address typical areas of concern, and a deeply nourishing final relaxation.
Pamela is a certified and experienced yoga instructor of over 20 years. She is certified in yoga for breast cancer recovery and is also a third-degree Usui Reiki Master and sound healing practitioner. She has a professional background in clinical oncology social work and also is a breast cancer survivor. Please find a space to practice with minimal distractions. Come to class well hydrated and have water with you. Yoga props that you might want to have on hand but are not required to participate include a yoga mat, yoga blocks (or books), yoga blankets (or small blankets or towels), a chair, and a pillow.
If you are instructed to wear a lymphedema compression sleeve during exercise, then please wear one to class.
After completing our RSVP and submitting this waiver form, a Zoom meeting ID and password will be emailed to you. You will not receive the Zoom information until you have submitted this waiver. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Pamela at yoga.by.pamela7@gmail.com.
