About the event

Led by Nina Prol, an amazing and experienced instructor who is passionate about your well-being, this session promises to uplift your spirits, enhance your strength, and foster a sense of community among fellow survivors. Tailored to the unique needs of those who have experienced breast cancer, our exercises help alleviate tension, restore mobility, and boost overall well-being.

A Gentle, Evidence-Based Path to Healing

Recovering from breast cancer treatment—including surgery (mastectomy/lumpectomy), radiation, and chemotherapy—requires a specialized approach to fitness. Our Breast Cancer Pilates program is designed to help you regain your physical agency in a safe, supportive environment.

By focusing on controlled movements and diaphragmatic breathing, Pilates addresses the specific post-operative challenges many survivors face, such as axillary web syndrome (cording), chest tightness, and reduced shoulder mobility.

Key Benefits for Breast Cancer Survivors

  • Improved Range of Motion: Gently stretch scar tissue and restore shoulder and arm mobility post-surgery.
