Elisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Resources. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and plays a key role at SurvivingBreastCancer.org, where she offers Expressive Arts classes and oversees more than 400 programs each year. Her work focuses on creating supportive, inclusive spaces that foster connection, emotional expression, and meaningful engagement for the cancer community.

Carl began working with SBC in August 2025 focusing mainly on search engine optimization. Since then, his scope of work has expanded to include outbound marketing operations and website development.

Carl graduated from San Jose State University in 2023 with a B.S. in Marketing. He and his wife are now based in Sacramento, CA, working out of their home office alongside their clingy Welsh Springer Spaniel.

Gloria Shoon

Gloria Shoon is a meditation facilitator and energy healing practitioner who has been exploring spirituality for over 20 years. A retired IT professional, Gloria brings a grounded and compassionate approach to her work, supported by certifications as an Angel Therapy Practitioner, Past Life Regressionist, Reiki Master, and Therapeutic Touch Level 3 practitioner. She is currently completing her Meditation Teacher Training Certification at Meditation University.

Jen Tipton

Jen Tipton leads DIEP Flap Yoga for the SurvivingBreastCancer.org community, offering compassionate, body-aware movement tailored to those navigating breast reconstruction. After experiencing a double mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction herself, Jen brings both personal insight and deep empathy to her teaching. With over 20 years of experience in fitness and movement and certification as a Cancer Exercise Specialist, she creates safe, supportive spaces that empower participants to reconnect with their bodies with confidence and care.

Regan Stacey

Regan Stacey is an artist and advocates for the Earth. A two-time breast cancer survivor, her journey with the forest, through a late stage 3 diagnosis, inspired her to reconnect humans to nature for the betterment of themselves, their communities, and the planet. As a mindfulness meditation teacher, forest therapy guide, and yoga teacher, she believes we can all awaken the forest within.

Thomas Dooley

Thomas has pioneered health humanities and narrative medicine as a poet in residence at Mount Sinai Hospital and New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center. Currently, he runs the humanistic medicine program at Overlook Medical Center and is poet in residence at UCSD’s Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion. His first book of poetry, Trespass, won the National Poetry Series and is available through HarperCollins Publishers.

Nina Prol

Nina is a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse with extensive experience in chemotherapy and infusion care. She is also a Classical Pilates Instructor trained in the original principles of Joseph Pilates. Nina brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and mindful movement to her work, supporting individuals with safe, intentional practices that honor both medical insight and whole-body wellness. Her approach emphasizes strength, alignment, and resilience, helping participants feel supported and empowered in their healing journey.

Elisa is a facilitator and guide dedicated to creating spaces of self-awareness, emotional insight, and meaningful connection. With a grounded, intuitive approach, she supports individuals and teams in understanding themselves more deeply, honoring their inner rhythms, and leading with authenticity. Her work centers on clarity, compassion, and sustainable growth—helping people feel seen, empowered, and aligned in both personal and collective settings.

Dr. Jennifer Kane

Dr. Jennifer Kane is a chiropractor, acupuncture practitioner, certified hypnotist, teacher,

writer, and speaker specializing in helping people transform their health. With over two

decades of experience, she has guided thousands to overcome health challenges and

start on their holistic wellness journey.

Following her diagnosis of colorectal cancer in 2012, Jennifer combined conventional

treatments with her holistic expertise to achieve thriving health. From her work with

patients and her experiences during cancer, Jennifer realized the profound impact

stress has on health and the vital importance of making lifestyle changes that support a

healthy life. She became a Certified Hypnotist to address the impact of the mind and

emotions on healing and help people accelerate changes through hypnosis.

Jennifer is the author of “Start Where You Are: A Healing Journal Through Cancer,” the

illustrated children's books Tale of Magic and Mischief, and a co-author

of the Amazon best-selling book, Empowered Women in Business; She has been a
guest speaker at numerous businesses, charities, and international conferences.
